A day off
Today is a day off, spent with the family.
Heading into London to see the Churchill war rooms and to have lunch in Covent Garden.
Then tomorrow at dawn, I'm off to Switzerland for a new jacket.

Looking good Stefan. The work you spent on getting ready for Bisley is paying you spades. I am pleased for you.
Re the jacket. Please consider a shorter jacket than Truttman builds. Your jacket is for prone only so a shorter jacket length would be in order. You would not need it over the hips. I can send you my jacket length if you need it for reference. I used to own a Truttman and looking at Best's, the jacket is too long for me. Enjoy the trip and practice your yodeling while there.

I haven't heard from you for 3 days. Wondering how your jacket looks and fits. Did you shorten the body to 24" or ??.
Wx here is hot and very dry. Worst on record since February. I will decide tomorrow to maybe move BCTR to Labour Day weekend. The forest is extreme and no rain in forecast for at least the next two weeks.
